I am an experienced public speaker, having appeared on BBC2 Newsnight, BBC1 Look North, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio London, talkRADIO, Monocle Radio and RNZ (Radio New Zealand). In 2016, I was invited to speak at the Hay Festival.

I have lectured and given talks internationally, including at the following institutions: Yale School of Architecture; University of Oxford; University of Cambridge; Royal Academy of Arts; Sir John Soane’s Museum; Vizcaya Museum and Garden, Miami; the Design Museum, London; Courtauld Institute of Art; Birkbeck, University of London; University of Bath; Northumbria University; University of Kent, University of Birmingham, University of Greenwich and University of Westminster.
